At last! A carp. Only a small one but after 2 lost fish so grateful to see that one slip into the net. On 3 popped up corn shaped boilies.

Lost 2 carp in 10 minutes. I'm fishing like a man in a blindfold today. Both took M2 pop up boilies.

The cuckoo is still around and calling. But heard and not seen so far. Also heard a peacock calling in the distance!

Can hear cuckoo, haven't seen one this year yet though. Song thrush, willow warbler, blackcap, chiffchaff in song. Orange tip butterfly.
